The P&C upcoming Colour Explosion Run will be held on Friday, 5 April 2019.
Students participating in the run will need to wear white or light coloured clothes, not school uniform, for the day as they will be covered in powder from head to toe. The day's focus is on fun and fitness with the added benefit of raising funds for our school.
The colour powder used in our event has been sourced direct from India, the home of Holi Powder. It is made of high quality corn starch and permitted food colours. It's non-toxic, biodegradable, skin safe and environmentally friendly. Toxicological Risk Assessment and ingredient listings can be obtained from the School Office upon request. Students with asthma are advised to be careful in their decision to participate.
Any student who has missed out on a note for the colour explosion event, which includes Sponsorship Form and online instructions on how to raise money and order prizes need to contact their class teacher or the office urgently in order to avoid disappointment.
Parents are encouraged to attend and will be able to take children home when their run is completed. Students will not be returning to classrooms after the run in order to avoid the need for any additional cleaning as a result of the colour powder. Please think about this if you are going home in cars as well. A change of shirt may be the best solution.
The event starts at 1.30 pm.
